Wakhan Community Health and Development Project
The Wakhi people live in villages in the north eastern and poorest part of the Wakhan valley in Afghanistan.
Our project in the Wakhan is multifaceted, with BLiSS training, immunisation programs, and varied education and health trainings. By working with the Wakhi people, communities are becoming empowered to make positive changes and child and maternal mortality have shown reductions.
