BLiSS Mazar-e-Sharif

Working in Mazar-e Sharif, the Birth Life Saving Skills Project (BLiSS) is a health education program focused on maternal health. With over 85% of Afghan women delivering their babies at home by untrained attendants,  BLiSS addresses mother and infant mortality rates to save lives through simple and effective, participatory educational training.
