The new heating system in Kindergarten #26 has been installed and is now providing a warmer classroom to the children with disabilities in the All About Children project this winter. Not only are our kindergarten children now enjoying this benefit but also the deaf children and able-bodied children at the state-run kindergarten in the same building. 

Construction was completed on the 15^th of October. On the 28^th of October, the opening of the new system was celebrated with several high-ranking dignitaries of the Khujand city government and the regional Sughd government attending the dedication. Radio and TV reported on the event. 

Official guests took time to talk to mothers and teachers and were deeply impressed with the work and promised future support for the project. This is a very positive step forward for children with disabilities and their families in Tajikistan’s society. 

Funding for the heating system was provided by Operation Mercy through funding partners outside of Tajikistan and the local government provided the labour for the heating system installation.
